Northwood 2.4C overclocks reliably

I have an IC7-G with a 2.4C Northwood CPU. It's reliably overclocked at 3.0 GHz since I bought it (250 MHz system clock, 1.0 GHz FSB). I did add an aftermarket CPU cooler and an aftermarket northbridge cooler.

With performance DDR-400 memory, I've also had the memory stable at 125% (although it will allow a 5:4 divider to remain DDR-400 speed).

Getting a slower CPU and overclocking it (rather than buying the fastest CPU the board will take) was a good combo that boosts the performance of the entire system.
