rev 1.03 and rev 1.05 (Asus K8N-DL)

According to Asus, cpu for this board is bios specific, not revision specific. So rev 1.03 and 1.05 will take all cpu’s if you have the right bios.

all Asus motherboards are bios - chipset specific meaning they can support the highest cpu possible with the latest bios installed. when it list P.C.B. version number and a different bios number what its saying is that is the bios number that that P.C.B.-motherboard shipped with or the latest bios before that P.C.B.-motherboard was revised-newer number v1.03 to v1.04. if you don't flash the bios to the newer bios number (1003 to 1004) it will only support upto that list processsors speed not the highest generally.
