M2N68-LA
Hello
Do you have any Bios information on this motherbored
M2N68-LA I can't find any with the LA extentsion, or is that irelervant.
Thanks.
CPU
Does not support Phenom x4 9650 CPU
Successfully Upgraded
I upgraded this board successfully to a Phenom II X4 3.0 9450 -- 95 Watt
Runs beautifully -- crashed with a CPU error on first load, then fine from then on
Cant identify in bios though
Athlon II X2 245 Regor Works
Just got an HP s5120y with a bad Athlon X2 7750 put my 245 in and it works just fine
Tested and working (BIOS version: 1.50):
Athlon 64 X2 6400 Black Edition (125w)
Opteron 1216 (103w/F2 stepping)
cpu
will it work with AMD Athlon 64 X2 7850 2.8Ghz 95W Socket AM2+
cpu
works with phenom 955 HDX955WFK4DGM reads as unknown cpu but works fine
HP CPU Upgrade on ASUS M2N68-LA (Narra3-GL8E)
Upgraded from original CPU (AMD Phenom x4 9150e Quad-Core, 65W TDP)on this board to an AMD Phenom II x4 945 Quad-Core (95W TDP) in Vista SP2 running an HP Pavilion a6655f. No problem with the upgrade - smooth.
Same problem with the "AMD processor model unknown". Bios v5.14 Phoenix Technologies sees it but doesn't recognize it. Same with Vista. CPU-Z recognizes the Name (AMD Phenom II x4 945) and all else, but not the Specification (AMD processor model unknown).
Running the processor hard does pull on the 3GhZ speed, though, and the multipliers adjust when it does. Stock HSF seems to be doing okay.
I havn't found any Bios update for this board from any source I trust.
Next step - new build.
But, if you stick with the unit you have, you can buy a heavy duty processor from someone like Newegg or Microcenter, get a free or cheap mobo that supports it and some ddr3 RAM. With the CPU you already have, you could get away with just getting a decent mobo and the RAM.
AMD Phenom II X6 1035T
Would this processor work on this motherboard? I know it's AM3, but from what I read those will work in AM2+ sockets.
socket am3 for this mobo
I have a m2n LA with socket AM3 ....but i cant find a suport for her...
Athlon II 250 upgrade
I have this mobo Asus M2N68-LA (Narra3) from HP dx2450. I upgrade CPU to Athlon II 250 3 Ghz(Regor). Works fine, Bios ver 5.60 recognizes this CPU.
Hello
i want to ask that would Amd, Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition
work on this motherboard?
Trying to upgrade to an opteron 1354 that I had, doesn't seem to want to boot, any thoughts
