dodgy bios

hi, i have the m2n8-vmx and i had an athlon64 3800+ in it, everything was working fine, but it wouldnt accept my athlon 64 6000+, theyre both on the list but i cant see why the MB wouldnt accept it

Please check if your BIOS version is up to date. If you upgraded to 6000+ 125 Watt then make sure that your power supply can handle it.

Do not install am2 6000+ 3ghz @ 125W, it will not work properly, they are incompatible. 89W processors should work fine. I know from experience.
