some part number issues

Posted by: George

1. Part number of 6000+ and 5600+ processors are erroneously identical
2. On the DFI motherboard bios download page they say they added support for Brisbane branch/65 nm processors. The Athlon 64 X2 6000+ processor put in the compatibility list is a windsor branch with a much higher TDP (125 w) and as such may not be compatible.

Instead, there is a Brisbane 6000+ core with low TDP that points to being compatible (bios and power draw wise), part numbers:
ADV6000IAA5DO = OEM/tray microprocessor
ADV6000DOBOX = boxed microprocessor
